627's on,,,

Just picked this one up a couple of weeks ago. It took me way too long to finally get one. It's my first .357mag and I absolutely love it. I cannot describe my excitement when I loaded it up for the first time with the moon clips. For some reason I felt like a kid in a candy store.

Forgive my ignorance, but is the -0 the only version that came with a full under lug?

Although I'm a big fan of .357 Magnums and Model 27s, for some reason I only have one 627...a 2-5/8" PC 627-5. Yes, it has the Hillary Hole, but I've been able to ignore it since I got the revolver for a great price (including the Crimson Trace laser stocks). This is one of my "go to" travel handguns and often sits in the center console of the SUV or rides on the Harley.

Gotta love the M627 8-shooters......
The original guns, like the M627-0 above were shipped with unfluted cylinders, BUT - Clint Eastwoods version (the Bloodwork gun) had a fluted cylinder - and it looked great. Sooooo, the three M627 8 shooters (above) went back to the PC to have the fluted cylinders fitted to them - Mucho better IMO... :)

All three have MY serial number "13", after the prefix.

Had to pull this pic out of the catacombs..... :D

Enjoy..............
