629-1 hand busted

Was out shooting my 629-1 today and the cylinder stopped rotating. I took the gun apart and found the pin busted off the Hand. Is this a "drop-in" part or should a gunsmith do this?

Hands come in various widths. Measure the width at the tip of the hand, when it engages the ratchets of the cylinder. Just replace with a like size.
