629-2 Badger Grips

Welcome to the Forum! Very nice stocks! I bought my first Model 28-2 back in 2009 for $430. A previous owner had drilled four "port holes" in the barrel, and it was wearing incorrect and non-matching checkered Target stocks that were flaking and peeling. I removed and re-finished (matte oil) those stocks and put them on another N-frame, and bought some Badger walnut combat stocks for the 28-2. My stocks were made by Jim Badger, long before they started adding the "badger" medallions. The stocks didn't quite fit correctly, so I contacted Jim and he walked me through the fitting process and final polishing. Those stocks are very comfortable, well made, and are holding up nicely. Enjoy!

Those are good looking grips. I'm thinking of ordering a set.

They offered a "remove palm swell" option in the ordering section. Did you guys kept the palm swell or had the palm swell removed. I am wonder how each feels.

Thanks.

Those look great! I'm gonna be honest, as a rule I am not a fan of Badger grips, just don't care for the shape/profile of them, but those of yours I really like!

Cool, I got me some Badger grips too! :)
