I had a Beretta Tomcat, as new, that I wanted to trade. Guy emailed me asking if I might like a .44Mag. Well, hadn't owned one for awhile so said sure, lets talk it over. Talking didn't take long, wallet lightened a bit and it followed me home along with 250 rounds of Winchester. Has had 50 rounds through it and is that tight. Can't wait to get it to the range.

It's a 6.5" and it is heavy. Came with a fully enclosed shoulder rig that makes carrying not to difficult. All of my previous .44's have been 4" so this long pipe is all new to me.

Great deal in trade. The 629 was the way to go by a long shot. That is a really nice combo even though I'm not much for scoped revolvers.. The 629-3 does it all. If you handload, it is supremely versatile.
