I have a 629-3 Classic in 5" with the Interchangable Front Sight. It came with the .250 red ramp.
I know the DX version of the -3 came with five interchangable sight blades.
Question: Can any owners of the DX version advise the different blade heights? I think they had a white dot post, gold bead and 4 different Patridge blade heights.
Thanks

I got a total of 5 only - on my DX gun. White dot. Gold bead. Patridge. Red ramp. Plain ramp.
Some of the sights have a .250 and a .227 on them.
I have read in the book, that it also included sights for 50, 100, 150 and 200 meters. That mine did not come with. But others that have DX's say they only got a total of 5 sights. So, I'm not sure if that's true, or that the book implies that in the total 5 , one can use them for those distances.
Here are the pics of the 5 that I got, including a closeup of the 4 that are not on the gun.

All .250=red ramp, black ramp, black patridge, black patridge with white dot, black patridge with gold or brass bead. The three sight set black patridge with .204,.227 and .250. A .227 with gold bead from Smith. Also available aftermarket are .250 red or green fiber optic and .250 gold bead from SDM

DX guns came with only 5. Magna Classics came with all 8 made by Smith.

To break it down

DX revolvers came with .250 red ramp, black ramp, black patridge, black patridge with white dot and .227 brass/gold bead. Why the gold bead is the only .227 I do not have an answer for.
