629-3 with scope ring mounts/grooves on barrel

It is an 8 3/8 inch barrel. Was this factory? I just realized I fat fingered the title....it is a 629-2.

Yes, the cuts for scope rings were available on the 8 3/8" 629-2's, but as I understand it, the rings came with the gun and were proprietary. AFAIK, no aftermarket rings work with the mounting cuts milled into the rib and the Smith rings are impossible to find, and $$$$$ if you do.
