Local gun shop has a 6" 629-4 that has a single port in front of the front sight, which google tells me might have been called a Power Port? It has a full underlug, and black rubber grips. Target hammer, target trigger.

In great shape, nice lock up, and comes with the blue plastic box.

They have it marked for $695, and this particular shop doesn't budge on price until it's been there a while.

Is $695 a decent price? They have a couple other 629's for $795 that have been sitting, so I think that's why this one was put out at the lower price.

Thanks guys, appreciate any advice.

The 629-4 is the most desirable of the 629s, has the endurance package, last one before MIM parts and internal lock. The barrel length is very popular, the only thing is the power port, that's a personal choice, but $695 would be a good price if you like the port.

I'm in the odd camp that would like a pp model. If you don't want it, let me know if they'll ship to an FFL and I'll take it if they do. That's a decent price.
Does it have standard sights? It's a Classic model I presume?

I'm a fan of the pp model myself. It should have the standard adjustable rear sight with a patridge front. $695 is a great price if mechanically sound. Good luck.
