The hole in the side, the uneven polish, the ill fitting Hogue Monogrip, are all changed finally. But I'm hitting walls trying to finish this. The L arrow is etched in deeper than the logo even is. I barely touched the logo and it thinned out some. But that darn L arrow must need a bench grinder to remove. I still can't find a straight black Partridge sight either. Any help with that would be greatly appreciated. The slight scuffs on the barrel were taken care of with Mothers. That stuff is amazing. Out of a dozen pictures I took this was the best and it still doesn't do it justice. But this is the work in progress:

Any recommendations?

Oooooooh...... I'd like that in a 5"... You may want to think about giving the face of the trigger a high polish. Really improves the feel and it make a beautiful contrast... Nice gun and nice job!!:)

Do you think it is possible to remove the hammer and trigger and coat them with Aluma-Hyde or something similar?

typed out this mornings reply on my phone, wanted to ask you how it shot?

She shoots better than I aim. My cast bullets with way too much Lee Liquid Alox don't lead too bad and pretty much any jacketed shoots like laser beams. I mounted a red dot on it a year ago and at 50 yards I was shocked I could rip Coke cans in half with 185 grain cheap Remington ammo. Recoil can get fierce so I used to swap out to an X frame stock. If I load them slow it doesn't lead too bad at all and the recoil is much more manageable. I just wanted a project gun that I could polish up, add a custom stock, and maybe dress up a little.

I really like what you've done with that gun.

Very nice.

This is a question based in ignorance because I've never done such.

Which Mother's product did you use and how did you apply and work it?

I have been thinking of adding a shorter barreled S&W wheelgun to the arsenal one day and would like to do this with it.
