629 bolt block missing?

I just picked up a new 629 5"' Classic. Ship date of 5-18-2020.
When I removed the side plate I saw that the frame had the notch milled for the bolt block but it wasn't installed.
Am I missing the bolt block or did S&W stop using it ?

The bolt block is part of the Endurance Package from decades ago. The slot should be equipped with the blocker & the trigger's hand should have the post to engage it's notch & slide it up.

Wasn’t the original bolt block a third pin on the hand? You might want to make sure you don’t have this hand in your gun

The pin to actuate the bolt block is an extended length hand pivot pin. It's on the hand, not the trigger.
