629-5. Zero cylinder end play, no play in the yoke and timing/carry up are perfect. Gun shoots great.

Would this yoke to frame fit (bottom right gap facing the cylinder front) bother you? None of my other stainless N and L frames have that large of a gap. Is it my OCD or does that gap look excessive?

Uneven contours below the barrel between yoke and frame.
They might call that, yoke droop?
We have a couple of series 70 Colt 1911s that the rear of slide and frame are not perfect.
Not a link issue, just lack of skill or slapping parts together.
Both are great shooters, especially the GC.

I would like to see a better fit, but I've seen worse. As long as the yoke barrel is straight and the cylinder turns freely, then its ok.

I watched the yoke for any movement or change in gap when cycling the trigger in double action. There was none. Everything turns smoothly on all chambers.

Just interchangeable manufacturing tolerances, some pairs of components fit better than others yet are still in specifications and function fine. Working for many years as a Manufacturing Engineer I saw this type of situation manifest itself frequently.

If the cylinder and bore alignment are good with that gap present (no shaving lead), then I wouldn't sweat it.
If that is the case and you could somehow figure out a way to close up the gap, then it would probably start shaving lead due to a misalignment between the barrel and cylinders.
IMO that would certainly be worse than a slight cosmetic issue of the yoke to frame fitment.
JMO and YMMV....
