Wednesday I started a thread asking for opinions on a 67 I found in a pawn shop. After reading all the replies I decided to pass on it. Now I'm glad I did. I had a few extra minutes today and went by a pawn shop that I haven't been to in several months. Sitting there was this 2" 64-4. BSB serial no. prefix should make it a 94-95 model. It was marked $399. I think it will look nice after a little polishing with Flitz. I'm planning to go back tomorrow and make them an offer on it.

Looks like a good gun. If it were in the Peoples’ Republic of Kalifornia, it would probably cost twice as much.
I have a Model 10 in the same configuration and it is a very good shooter. Also, I find that it conceals very well. Buy it!

Very nice revolver. I walked into a gun store this past Tuesday and sitting there was a Model 60 ND. After about 3 minutes I said I'll take it, paid the lady, and will be able to pick it up after Nov 26th (New Jersey). I strongly suggest you are the first person in that shop tomorrow and buy that beauty. IMHO

That is very nice! I bought a 64-2 several years ago from my local pawn shop. Mine's the same barrel length, looks like yours only the -2 has a flash chrome hammer and trigger.

I finally made it over there at lunch today. It was still there and came home with me. $405 OTD. I'm happy with that. I'll post more pics after I get it cleaned up and get the correct grips on it.

I could be wrong, but I think the case color hammer and trigger on your 64 is somewhat unusual. Not unheard of though, just not the norm. My 64-4 dates 1993 and has the flash chrome hammer and trigger. Anyway, good luck with your purchase.
