640 proper grips?

What grips would a 1994 640 .38spl model have? I’ve seen many, unknown years, with smooth service stocks. If they are the proper style I’d like to find a set. Thanks.

I've seen M640's that shipped in 1994 with either traditional wood service stocks (Magnas) or Uncle Mike boot grips. Could of been either one. Pretty evenly split.

I even saw two with close serial numbers that had smoth Magnas, though one of those was a 1995 gun.

My 640 (no dash) purchased new in '96 had Uncle Mike's boot grips on it. Unfortunately I no longer have it and serial number info so I'm not sure when it was made.

My 1st model 640 no dash, with the 1-7/8 " barrel, came with smooth wood magnas from the factory
