It’s been a ridiculous week for 1990s J Frames, with the 042, 38-2, and now this little gem. The 642 and 442 are excellent carry guns but somewhat plain looking these days. It’s easy to forget that some of these late 80s - early 90s J frames had clear anodized aluminum frames. For example, the no dash 637, 638, and 642. Looks quite sharp.

This one appears NIB. I have another in the regular carry rotation, so this one can stay clean for now.

Nice. ;)

I've carried my 642-1 +P for years.

Mine doesn't look anywhere as nice as yours does.

Great Find.

Lovin’ the buffed satin aluminum and stainless. I’ll have to settle for the polished stainless cylinder on my newer 442.
