642 Power Port Pro-Series

Has anybody bought one of these yet? I had planned on buying a 442 for a pocket gun and I was looking on the S&W sight and ran across this blacked out 642 with a ported barrel. I planned on putting the CT LG-405 grips on the 442 but with the 642 ported barrel and the CT grips recoil may be somewhat better. The overall length on this 642 is slightly longer at 6 1/2 verses 6 7/8 on the 442 but I guess that would'nt effect concealment to much. What do you think?

It's a good looking weapon but I have had and used ported handguns of all sizes and I don't care for the gases being blown in my eyes while shooting. I don't notice the muzzle flash but crap in my eyes bothers me.

Your right about that, especially being that short of a barrel. Thanks for the information, I think I will buy the 442.
