I'm considering bidding on a 648 on GB. Is the most recent production 648 a dash 2? I'm thinking the 648 has been dash 2 ever since they added the lock but not sure.
The earlier 648-2's were 6 shot and the newer ones are 8 shot . One would think it should be 648-3 but S&W would have to explain why . I'm still waiting for a 4" model.
There is a 48-4 on GB that I would love to have but I'm betting it will sell north of 1k before its done. looks mint and has box with all stuff included. I like the 4" also but the wasted powder in that short of a barrel bothers me. 6" probably wastes powder also but seems like people complain much less about it.
