I very recently purchased a 649-2. I got discussing with one of our esteemed members about adding a second cylinder and having it converted for .9mm and .38 super. He sent me a link to a 642-2 cylinder and crane for sale on eBay. I purchased same and It didn't fit. I took the cylinder of of the supplied yoke and tried it on mine. that didn't fit either. I called TK Custom and they said that the cylinder needed fitting. I went to one of my local gunsmiths who measured the cylinder. He said that the one I obtained was off of a much newer gun but it is a .38 and not a .357 cylinder. Should I return it or have it fit to my yoke/crane. What do I need to be aware of??? Is it worth doing???
