651 age?

Hello, new to the forum! I've developed an addiction to S&W revolvers as I have aged, weird right?

My latest acquisition is a nice model 651 I picked up private party today. It is in great condition but no box, just the pistol and 2 sets of non original stocks. Below is a pic of the serial number, any chance someone might know what year it was manufactured?

ACL has been reported in 1984, per SCSW 5th Edition.

Any suggestions on square but j frame stocks? I really like finger groove combats.
