Picked this 4", 66-1 up at LGS yesterday. Came w/a nice set of target grips, present ones were my idea to play dress-up.
Shot 10yd falling plates at the range earlier today w/it. Had just enough time before the shoot to put a couple dozen rounds into a target to get some idea how it shot. Rather than try sight adjustment due to lack of time I applied the offset correction when I shot the plates and did quite well.
Trigger is a bit hard but expect it to soften up w/some use. Doesn't appear to have been shot much.

Hard to beat a nice M66-1! Surprised the trigger is "a bit hard". Hopefully it will soften up for you. Yours is a keeper, as is mine.

KevinG,
Very Nice !! Would you be willing to share the cost? I'm interested in what the M66-1 goes for on the Right Coast vs the Left Coast...........

Thanks Gents. Sierra, paid the asking price $475. My poker face is terrible, wanted it and clerk knew it.
Below it's w/its younger sibling, 2.5", 66-3. Having them pointed at ground isn't a safety thing, couldn't get photo bucket to save the image after I'd rotated it. Any tips?
Tks, Kevin

Would you care to sell those grips? I have a set of dark rose wood S&W target grips I'd trade you + I'll add an additional $100.00.

Bill,
I'm assuming your Target Grips are S&W, not clones, and are in good condition.
Also for the record you're referring to my Finger Grip Square Butt Combats, K Frame, shown in this post on 4" 66-1.
If that's the case I accept your proposal except I'd like you to donate the cash to this here Forum. PM me and we'll work out the details.
Tks, Kevin

Kevin.
You've got a deal. I'll send you my grips and you can send yours to me. I will gladly donate the $100.00 to the S&W forum.

Sheepdawg, I didn't say the trigger was bad, it's "a bit hard". Expect it to soften up w/some use. Gun does not appear to have been shot much at all.

Kevin,
I received your grips yesterday and sent you my grips. Also sent $100.00 to the S&W forum as a donation from you. Hope you enjoy my grips as much as I enjoy yours.

THANKS to KevinG and WP.
Ck received, and we DO appreciate it!

Kevin, is that one I missed. It looks nice and the price seems low if you got where we always shop. Must have been during the weekend. I'm on vacation this week skippin bike week so I can shoot some old hardware, Call me.

Donation and Grips received

WP/Bill,
I received your very handsome set of GA K Frame Target Grips in the mail yesterday, as indicated above HE (Lee) got your check at Forum Central. I'm quite happy w/the grips and how this deal worked out.
If anyone is curious why I did this it's because I'd like to bring some awareness to Donations for the Forum. I notice a lot of longterm active members don't have the Donor Banner next to their name. Additionally perhaps the newer members just aren't aware of the donations. Entry level donation is about 1/2 the price of a decent set of Target Grips. We shouldn't have to wait for Lee to tell us the Forum's financial condition is not good, we should be supporting the Forum so those msg's aren't needed.
I see a lot of talk about Do the right thing, Honorable Behavior, Setting the right example for youth, etc. Let's walk the talk.
Kevin
