Picked this up recently 66-4 Performance Center "F Comp" Distributed by Lew Horton in 1994 this particular one was shipped to American Historical Foundation where it was engraved and offered as 1 of 50 Tactical edition.

I too am not normally a fan of engraved guns. But I would take that in a heartbeat. Nice find!

A highly engraved revolver such as yours is a work of art that should be admired and not shot. Why risk putting any wear on an investment grade revolver? I like the grips also.
 
I just picked one up at a gun show today. It is great to be able to hold and ........ well I probably will not shoot it. It came with the case and full set up of tools and original paper and never been shot. I traded for it so I am not sure of the actual value, but it didn't mater at the moment I was in the "deal". It will possibly go in the safe next to some of the other rare S&Ws I will have and a note on who I traded it from (he was quiet a guy) and the long list of trades getting there. I would like to be able to find more info on this particular edition.
