Picked up a 66-8 2.75" Combat Magnum a while back; looked barely used. It's great.....one of my favs.
Only thing resembling any kind of an issue is the height of the rear sight. It is kinda short. Nothing I can't live with.
Would anyone know if a taller sight is available for this gun. Don't want to change anything, I mean I want it to just drop in, but with the metal on the sides of the notch a little taller. Same notch height preferably.
And while I am thinking about it, what available grips would thin the handle down a bit. I have smallish hands, the trigger is a tad far and would like to have it a bit closer without loosing any of the backstrap padding. If it were a little thinner, I think that would work fine. BTW, the grips are the two piece factory (I think rubber).
Any input appreciated.
It's still a fave, and a keeper, even if I can't make the modifications.
