686-1 w/ 2 1/2 in Barrel

I recently bought a 2 1/2 inch 686-1 s/n AWT41XX from my LGS. I bought my first one new in the box in the 80's and sold it in the mid 90's as I was paring down my accumulation of seldom fired revolvers.

Any guesses on the date of manufacture? I'm just curious and don't need a $100 factory letter.

PS - Is this part of the Lew Horton run of 7,000 from 1984-85?

My first 686 snub cost $350 (plus tax) back in 1985. I sold it ten years later for what I paid. As usual, considering todays prices, I should have kept it. At least I didn't sell off my two Pre-29's!
