Hello,
I picked up a 686-4 Performance Center Carry Comp a couple of years ago and enjoy it, but don't enjoy the dead front night sight. It may as well be a black post, and my aging eyes need color.
I see there are a half-dozen current Performance Center revolvers with what looks like the same front sight cut, even though they use orange front sights instead of night sights.
Does anyone know if they sight cuts are the same?
I would really like a replacement night sight, to keep it original, but I need brightness and the factory orange would work. I might like a fiber optic more, but worry about durability if holstered.
Can anyone help me understand these front sight cuts so I can repair or replace mine?
Thank you for any insights.
BTW, it is the same, but different, from what Nathan510 found in his 2020 thread: Holy Grail 686+ PC Carry Comp
