I have a 686 plus, -5 variant with 2.5" barrel. I did not get the original box with the revolver. I was wondering what grips would have came originally with the revolver.
From what my catalogs show the grip most likely to be the factory grip would be the Hogue rubber finger groove round to square conversion with the molded in S&W emblems and dual speed loader cut outs.
It just does not make sense to me put a square butt conversion grip on a snubby, that is why I am wondering.
