686 assembly question

simple question about puting my 686 back together. I have 3 screws that hold the side plate on. 2 long screws and 1 short one. it looks like one long screw one goes in the forward most hole to hold the cylinder arm(?) in. but which hole gets the short screw?

You should have two with rounded heads and one with a flat head. The flat head goes in the bottom hole where it is covered by the grips.

the flat heat screw goes under the grip from L-R the other 2 go in the other 2 holes...don't over tighten the screw under the cylinder or ot will not open smooth

thanks, that sounds like how i did it. Flat head, short screw all the way to the rear covered by the top of the grips.
