IMO yes. Especially if you posted it on GB. As you probably know they were made in 3 & 4" models. All 3" revolvers are hot looking revolvers and commanding premium prices but a 4" is the best all around barrel length. With a good holster and belt they are a breeze to carry concealed and super comfortable in a good OWB holster. The new and improved 686's are selling for nearly the same price and do not begin to compare in quality. They are not being made anymore and will never be made again. You'll be owning a pretty rare handgun with some interesting history behind it. My 3" has the best trigger and action of any S&W I own, straight from the factory. I did pack it for awhile but it now rests safely in the safe. It and my 4" 586 are my most accurate centerfire S&W's I own and both have the best triggers.
Mine will never leave the tribe!
