686 elevation & windage

I've just acquired my first S&W, a 686 mountain gun. Tomorrow I'm going to the range for the first time with it. Wondering what each click in elevation and windage translates to... 1/4", 1/2", etc? The manual provides no answer at all. Does anyone here know? Many thanks.

I don't know the answer to your question, but the range to target will drive that. I keep the below picture on my phone so that I always have a reference with me. Happy shooting!
