need help i cant find the date of manufacture of a no dash 686.and whats one worth roughly. ive never owned a smith but im looking at one. the ser. no. is AHT0522 got a couple real light marks and the side plate screws have light marks on them as if they been off.no box or papers it locks up tight and .003 end play. any help would be appreciated ..

AHT puts your gun around July 1985. These usually run about $450 to $550 around here. Condition can play a big part in value.
