686- no lock question

What was the last year or dash for the no lock 686's? 686-?

-5 is no lock. -6 has the lock. I've had -3, -6, and now a -4. I thibk -4 is very nice and I prefer the 7-shot models (-4's and newer I think). B

-5 is no lock but MIM parts and frame mounted firing pin, the -4's are my favorites.

The lock was added in 2001, 686-6.

They are correct, -5 is no lock, MIM, frame mounted pin; -6 is where the hole starts. So...a -4 is no MIM, no lock, and...the first year of the 7 shooters to boot.
