I just bought a new 686 plus at the gun show today. Now that I have bought the gun I will ask the questions I should have ask before I got it home.
The plus means more shells in the gun does this mean with less metal it does not need as many full house 357 loads. I got the 4 inch as I already have a 6 inch Dan Wesson that shoots a lot better than I do. How does your 4 inch 686 shoot. Help me feel better!!!! I also have a 657 Mountain gun 41 mag that I put a J point red dot on because of my older eyes and it is the best shooting hand gun I have ever owned. Thanks for any help on how the 686 will hold up as I do like med. to heavy loads with 125 and 140 gr. bullets
