686 unfluted

I know that S&W built a .357 with an unfluted cylinder (in the 627-0) but did the 686 ever come from S&W with an unfluted cylinder

Interesting, I didn't realize the pre-lock 686 was available unfluted. I have always like the Talo's but no new Smiths for me.
