My brother wants to buy my 686-6 snubby and I'm wondering how much to ask. It is in great shape with less than 1000 rds through it. I know he is family but I want the most $ I can get. He offered $500...should I sell to him or can I expect more from my lgs?

I borrowed my brother's 222 Contender 20 years ago.
I told him it shot to darn good and I wasn't giving it back.
I still have it, still not giving it back either.

For a 686 snub with factory grips - looking at about 600 - 650 for private sales in my area. You won't get near that at an LGS.

Some families have discounts, some don't. Your call, nobody here should judge.
