If you don't mind investing a few bucks, the Standard Catalog of Smith and wesson (third edition) has it all. I used to go to this web site: Smith & Wesson model changes but it seems that it hasn't been kept up to date and doesn't cover the L frames. But try a search on the forum here, I think its been covered a time or two. Or if you have a specific question, post that and I'm sure you'll get an answer.
