686

Hi Wolfe. Welcome to the Forum. I'm not sure what you mean by a "single screw". In general revolver prices vary greatly based on rarity and condition, accessories (e.g. original box etc) and in this case probably model number. The 686 has been thru numerous engineering changes starting with the plain 686 (no dash), and progressing thru 686-1, 686-2, etc, to today's current production 686s. Value will vary somewhat between the different changes, with the older models usually being valued slightly higher assuming similar condition. Hope this helps.

My guess on dash and condition would be $500 for a very quick sale to $600-650 if you are patient. Part of the problem is that they made a lot of 4".

One thing...

One thing is that the 4" is a very popular barrel length and are a tad harder to find than, say, a 6" barrel and they bring a good price when they are found. As mentioned before, patience to find what you want at a good price pays off.

I meant to say that it does not have the safety lock. And the mod is 686 only. The single screw was a mistake on my part.
Thanks for the help so far.
