6946 holster cross reference

So it seems 6946 holster choices are getting less as time goes by. So I am wondering what other S&W models would interchange? Open top holsters are pretty well covered, as 6906 models seem pretty prevalent. The issue comes into play when looking for something with a thumb break, because of the longer slide. So, will thumb break holsters from say, 4046, 5946, 4586, 1086, etc actually work with a 6946? Thank you!

Keep a check on American Heritage Gun Leather on ebay, he often has older holsters for 3rd gen Smiths.
