Does anybody remember what ammo boxes looked like in the 70s? I'm thinking of .38/.357 specifically. Were teh Federal boxes red with a bold line angled on the upper corner? Were the Winchester boxes Super X red on white? And were the Remington boxes green with white lettering?

I want to do some photography to recreate the mid 70s using a 28-2 and some period ammo boxes. Thanks!

70s ammo box designs

The ammo boxes I have from the 70's--Winchester (white, red letters) Federal (red box, white letters, slash on front is brown and white color) Remington (green & orange, white letters) Speer (yellow hard plastic (black letters on white labels)
Hope this helps.

Thanks James, that's what I needed.

I don't get the Remington being green and orange. You don't mean green and yellow, do you...?

Sorry about that, remington boxes(half green and bottom half orange) were the boxes that remington unprimed brass came boxed in in the 70's. I went and looked to make sure and you were right about the remington ammo box being green on upper half and yellow on the lower half.
