Thanks, just my luck, I just ordered two off of Ebay! However, after checking their price with shipping and tax, I still was better off with Ebay anyway. I wonder if this means supply is freeing up and we'll see more on other sites?

I lucked out yesterday and got a Shield 9 w/2 mags from Buds Guns Police/Mil for $335 shipped. Couldn't believe it! Visiting daughter in Seattle and just happened to check some sites on her computer. Glad I did. Been on many waiting lists for 2 or 3 months.

Ordered the extra mags on the 24th from Cabelas and they were at my door on the 28th. Now thats service. I had $10 on a cabelas card so $63.xx for both shipped. Sweet!! Thanks again Mesinge2.

Yep. The two 8 rounders I ordered July 25. Arrived at my door July 30, if yesterday hadn't been Sunday I'd have had them a day earlier.
With Tax & shipping they were $80.93...while not cheap...over on gunbroker.com right now 2 of those bad boys will run you (at least) $93 plus tax and shipping. Whew!!!!!

That's what I was saying too. The people on GB are really expensive. Midway has a lower price but they have never had them in stock and they keep pushing the date.

Yes, I waited 2.5 months on two mags from S&W. I ordered 2 mags from Cabellas on 7-20-12 (a friday). They were in my PO Box on that Monday: 7-23-12!

I cancelled my back order from S&W. They told me 2 weeks...

I also bought a 2nd Shield to get more magazines

Thanks for the tip...I went to their site yesterday and ordered some 8 round mags for me, and some 7 round mags for my wife. (She likes the 7 round mags in her Shield, while I like the 8 round mags in mine, for a better grip.)

I had no preference initially, but now I actually prefer the 7 rounders when holding the gun in a 1 or 2 handed grip.
