8 Point Doe? Say WHAT?

Saw on the local news were a long time Wisconsin deer hunter killed a 8 point doe on Monday? Say What?

He said he'd been watching this deer for the past couple of years on his trail camera. Told his wife he wanted to get it this year. He told his wife it was huge!

Turned out it was a 8 point doe?

I thought the 47 point Buck killed here in Middle Tennessee a few weeks back was amazing. But this takes the cake!

What is up with the genetics of all these Deer?

It happens. Pretty rare but there are antlered does. Here in NC the hunting tags are listed as antlered deer and antlerless deer instead of buck or doe.

Sometimes hormones plays tricks in nature.

But I would bet a million 'bucks' that the people that reported this are full of deer poop of both genders.

I haven't had a Michigan deer license in years,but they used to specify antlerless deer instead of does because of this happening.
