anyone know why it is so hard to get the shield 8 rd ers. i have three on order from sw for a while and nada

Multiple post on the topic, search magazines and you will see everyone is having hard time finding magazines.

The reason for the shortage-everything from aliens bought them due to upcoming galactic war, to government conspiracy, to the simple fact that S&W just can't keep up with the demand.

I have not seen an official release from S&W for the actual cause.

Don't just wait on S&W. Check others like Midway, Brownells, Cabela's, even Guns and Gear Outlet at 413 786-0100. You could wait on S&W and never get them.

Glad i bought all the mags i ever needed long time ago. I'm sure i have plenty and plenty more to spare. In the end, i probably bought 3 of mine for the price people are paying for 1 right now. =-)
