9 mm Shield holster recommendation

I was considering a belly band too...I am a 5' 120 lb grandma and I'm not sure how to decide what size/type to order. The local stores don't seem to have much info here in CT. It's hard to look at a picture on the computer and decide on a holster without holding it. I have a H-K vp9 sk (9mm) and I shoot right handed though I am a lefty when I write. My plan is to learn to shoot lefty as well. I have a"sticky holster" which I stick in my pocket (my gun doesn't have a safety latch) I've just learned to shoot last spring so I haven't been carrying because I want to make sure my confidence and skills are up to snuff first. Come spring, I would like to plan to at least carry when I drive so I get used to having a gun in my life whenever I travel in my state. I'm willing to spend whatever it takes but I don't want to randomly buy and have a closet full of holsters. And I realize so well that what works well for you may not work for me... Any suggestions?

+9000 for Vedder.

I have 6 holsters across 4 pistols and they are all amazing. Fit/finish and QC is hands-down the best in the biz.

Ritchie Bros CQ-QR or Andrews Saddle Holster. Andrews Mac Daniel II or Ritchie Bros. Hideaway for IWB.
Both are Outside of your stated price range, but this is equipment you are using to possibly protect your life. Going bargain in such situations is not really a great idea..

My favorite is Concealment Express and they are around $35-$40.
Veddor is a great holster as well. The only thing that I don't like is that they are hard to get on and off.
Remora is very comfortable. I own several but prefer the kydex.
My wife has a Rude Dog Holster which is very comfortable as well.

I have the Alien Gear 3.0 Tuckable but they are not available now. they have designed a new holster for all types of carry called ShapeShift. $99.00. I have been trying to by an Urban Carry online but the webpage will not allow shopping, out of order. Don't really feel like having to call in on the telephone.

10000000% no on the Urban Carry. Too many people have tried them and they are just awful. You'll find plenty of videos on YouTube, here's one to get you started: Urban Carry G2 Holster Review | Does It Live Up To The Hype? - YouTube

As for Alien Gear, they are far too bulky for me. I squat so my booty is on point and those holsters add way too much bulk, the wings on the Kydex portion are flat so they add extra width to the footprint.

However, that's all on me. For others who are very slim (I'm 6'3", 215 with a 33" waist) that extra bulk might not be much. But if you've got any shape to you they might add too much bulk if you've got squat booty. That is just my personal experience.

BUUUUUT I do like their mag carriers. I use the double mag setup for IDPA and then carry a single without the backer for daily use. The backer is a bit much even with a single stack mag but without it they are fine, IMO.
