908

I picked mine up recently for under $400, with one magazine, original box & papers, and an extra Hogue grip. It wasn't NIB, but it was 98%.

I got mine last year for $ 415.00 Matte finish with 2 mags and a Hoge grip as well as the stock grip. The dealer said it was purchased fired like once? I must say I think he was correct it had no wear marks at all. Great gun shoots much better than I expected.

Yea $625 seems high. 908 is not a easy gun to find, at least my research.
Also have couple of used 4040 i've seen for $450. But the newness of a 908 is tempting.

I suppose that I should surrender myself to the authorities for larceny. I purchased one last year for $279. It was LNIB with two magazines. Could not hardly tell that it had been fired. However, I have found that if you really like a particular gun and think that it may be priced a little too high, you may look back later and regret not paying that little bit extra.

And that I did. I ended up paying $595 + S/H.
I have not recieved the product yet. But, after phone conversation he at gun store assured NIB. I was wrong about the x-tra magazines.
But have everything that originally comes with the new 908.

There is a NIB S&W #908s for $449.99 at a metro Atlanta shop. I would tell you where it is, however; my brother is going after it in the morning.

I bought this used #908 a few months ago for right under $225.00. It is a great gun.

Almost bit on one locally, a few months back. It had a few scratches, but $350 was a reasonable price. Nice gun at that price for sure.

I wouldn't pay more than 400.00 for a 908 series pistol; I looked at a 915 several years ago and thought it was a bit rough in comparison to the 3900, 5900 series pistols. Not to say that I wouldn't have a 900 series pistol, but they are more barebones and don't command the price of the 3900, 5900's...

Yea, seems too much but limited here in my small town. I find it we the consumer, are limited to only a few web sites for good used guns. Allot of me has difficulty buying a used gun(without a visual) when I can pay more (probably too much) for new.
I do feel good in the fact this was part of my "gun fund" and did not have to use other way's to pay.

Hey guys, I've been seriously considering a 903 or 3913 for CCW since it's single stacked. I'm having a hard time finding the specs. Could someone measure the width of the slide and the width of the griple please?

Thanks!

I don't have mine handy to measure, but here is a photo of a (L to R) of a S&W #908, Walther PP, and a Beretta #84 to compare widths.

I got a NIB 908S for $425.00 with metal recoil spring guide and 4 mags. I thought that was a great deal on a great gun. But, then again, I am a Smith and Wesson guy-I've had so many that I have lost count. My original was a 586 with a 6" barrel that I bought in 1983 ($325.00). I have shot 10's of thousands of rounds through it and I still have it.
