If I had more ambition I'd look it up. received this in an e-mail.

So, rather than spend the whopping 40 seconds or so it would take to actually CHECK the post, you mindlessly repeat misinformation.

As these missives go, it's not as bad as most. Poor research, worse spelling, but far superior than that crap asking us to "remember how Ollie North warned Al Gore about bin Laden," the usual McDonalds mendacities and the like.

Crazy K;

Sadly, it would seem as though most every forum has one, though they usually turn out to be pretty harmless . . .

A lot of forums have more that one. They try to beat each other to post how the search works. I try to ignore them as much as possible.

If you don't have a constructive answer, then why go out of your way to even type anything.

The obvious corollary of which is, if you have nothing useful to offer, why post at all?

Get back to us on that, will you?

Hi Amici,

We have spoken often in the past- too often.

You walk a fine line, very skillfully, between contributing and just plain annoying and belittling people.

Leave the members alone.
I, and the Mods, and the more polite members can call the disinformation.

Engage in threads you wish to contribute to in a positive manner.

Last Warning.

""Engage in threads you wish to contribute to in a positive manner.""

Now that is an interesting concept! Seems simple to me. If we all followed that advice, this would truly be a GREAT forum!
