952 no dash question

Hello everyone,

I acquired tonight an unfired 952 no dash pistol that appears to be complete. Outer cardboard box, aluminum case, gun with mag in it and in the paper, second mag wrapped in the paper, chamber flag, manual, blue warranty card, combination lock instructions, master trigger lock and Massachusetts mandated safety warning note.

The question is… did these guns ship with a spent casing? SPEC ORD # is 0111 and the serial number is KAZ01xx

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

The first 400 of the 952 were the no-dash pistols and these were an exclusive for Bangers Distributors before S&W decided to regularly catalog the model. I believe these pistols pre-dated the fired case nonsense that was ill-conceived and eventually died a quiet death.

Only the no dash version of the 952 lacks the grip safety, all the later guns had them.

Your gun was prepped for shipment on April 20, 2000.
