I like kkm but factory works as well but you can only go smaller caliber than the slide.

Not with OEM barrels the best of my knowledge. You can go from 40-357-9 or 357-40-9 but if you go from 9-40-357 you will have to do a little filing. So you would have to research but not easy drop and shoot.

My suggestion would be to sell your 9c then purchase S&W 40c then MPC OEM .357c, 9cmm barrels and a couple of 9mm magazine's and it would be considerable less expensive.

I just bought a 40c for precisely that reason. Just received my KKM 40-9 concersion barrel yesterday. (Had 9mm mags from an old 9c). Eventually I may pick up a 357 barrel as well. The 40 and 357 mags are the same. IMHO, the M&P 40's are probably the best caliber conversion pistols on the market as the ejector and extractor are the same on the 9's and the 40's. It would be nice if S&W offered a package deal with 3 barrels and 9mm and 40 mags

I want to do as well, Procure a S&W M&P 40c. Do a M&P (Aluminum/Polymer) Action Enhancement Trigger and M&P Duty/Carry Action Enhancement Kit. test it at the range through each enhancement. Then 9mm for the range, 357sig for accuracy, 40sw for defense. Having a problem deciding what setup to stay with most of the time. will decide that after I put a few thousand rounds through it in each setup. I have time, I am Retired. This is not Rocket Science (Worked 34 years on the Shuttle plus 13 on the International Space Station) cut my teeth on a Galloway trigger job, on a BG380. How hard could it be??

you can do it with a 40 or 357 Sig to 9mm.
i have a FS 40 and bought an OEM 357 Sig barrel and a SL 40 to 9 conversion barrel and have had NO issues.

Just talked to SW again. They no longer sell just barrels. They say the 9mm conversion is unsafe so they won't be available any more to anyone. That's why they are backordered every where. Storm lake looks like one of the only options.

I ordered mine from KKM Precision(you can call and order directly fom them, received it one week. Pricey..but they offer law enforcement or military discount.
