My new 9c is amazing. I love every aspect of it and my friends were really impressed too. We were all impressed with the feel of the pistol in our hands and how tight everyones groups were straight out of the box.

My groups were real tight but high and to the right. Since all my friends went with me I wasn't able to really get comfortable with the gun as I had wished. Next time I'll get some quality shooting and work on some things.

The slide was sticking when anyone would insert a new magazine in it but I knew the spring still needed to be broken in. The other problem were the mags. The mags are 10rd mags but we were only able to get 9 rounds into the mags. Is this problem common?

I have a 9c that's been a great gun, shoots POA with no issues. From day 1 I've not had any problems fully loading the magazines, but I've heard it's kind of hit-or-miss whether or not they will load all ten rounds right away. They will work in, though. I carry mine in a Garrett Industries Silent Thunder OWB, sometimes in a Galco MTAC IWB (although I'm not fond of IWB).

Great gun, I have had mine for a couple of years and I really like it. I carry it in rotation with my Kimber 45 and my model 60, .357....

Typical of the 10 rounders.
You can trim some of the material off the bottom of the follower in the mag.
Take a little at a time untill it works.

I've got a 9c, and my son got a good deal on a used one as his first pistol. We both think it is great, enjoy!

I love my 40c w/9mm conversion barrel...best of both worlds, and never had a FTF or other issues after about 500 rounds of each. My accuracy/grouping is slightly better with the 9 though.

Lubing up the rails on your slide may help any sticking. The 10 round mags are sometimes problematic. The fix? Move to "Free America" and buy some real magazines. :D
My 9c is my daily carry weapon. I wouldn't trade it for 2 Glocks. ;)

Great choice! I have a full size 9mm and a 40c. Load your mags up as full as you can get them, and leave them that way until next time you go shooting. Then try to load the 10th round. If not, then keep them full between shooting sessions. They WILL loosen up.

Buddy of mine just got his 9c for Christmas from his wife and kids. He chose M&P after giving my 40c a workout. He loved it from the start.

Hey DevilDogg, where'd you get that cool t-shirt with the old English "D"? Go Tigers...;-{)

MotorCityGuy-

Thanx for your response. I'm originally from Michigan, but stationed out here in California. I picked up the Tiger shirt when I was home on leave. I bought it at a Tiger's game. The front says "Motor City" it's my favorite shirt. I still have to rep the great state of Michigan way out here.

Who dat gonna beat dem Saints, who dat! Not Detroit! :D
Geaux Saints!!!!!!

Shot one last week. I really liked it. My wife was looking for a CC gun, didn't like any of the small pocket pistols, but she does like my full size M&P9, so she gave the 9c a try. It feels and shoots just like the big one. She ordered one for herself with the Crimson Trace laser sights.

I use an UPLULA to load my mags. Have you tried one? Beats into submission the most stubborn springs.

DAdams-

No I haven't tried UPLULA. I keep hearing about them and considering buying one in the near future.
