9C HOLSTER

I might be purchasing a m&P 9c. Any recommendations on a IWB (preferably tuckable) holster. I know you can pay a lot or a little and you get what you pay for, but I am looking something decent but not necessarily top of the line.

Holsters are a very personal decision. You will get lots of opinions. Do you want a single clip or dual clips on your IWB holster? Leather or kydex? Lots of other questions you need to ask.

For me personally, I tried Alien Gear and SHTF holsters. Then the husband talked me into trying the N82 Pro holster. I LOVE IT. It has suede on the back so it is soft against your skin. No having to wear a undershirt so your holster does not rub you the wrong way. In the middle of the backing is neoprene which not only adds a nice padding, it is also waterproof, and then you have a thin leather layer. The holster is a type of plastic (not kydex) that has a definite click when the gun is inserted. To remove the gun, you have to twist the gun towards you as you remove it. So no worrying about someone snagging your gun. To draw your gun, it is very easy and takes about 2 seconds to get used to. The backing has no awkward bumps that poke you when you bend over. I can wear it all day in total comfort, no matter the temp.

Checkout the bianchi 135. Got mine for about $53 and really like it.

I think the Bianci 135 is a good value holster for your criteria as well. If you can stretch the budget, you will find better options, but for $60.00 it's a good one.

Here's another vote for the Bianchi Model 135, it is my primary carry holster and I have one for my Shield and one for my 40c. (link is a front and back pic of holster with my 40c) I have been using them for going on 2 years and I must say it is a VERY COMFORTABLE holster, even more so than the MTAC I used prior to it breaking. It has a mesh covered foam backing that is extremely comfortable against your skin even on those 100 degree days.

One thing I think is very important when it comes to IWB holsters, especially if you plan on tucking it are the belt clips. Unlike some holsters that come with huge metal or kydex belt clips, and/or have garish emblems on them the 135 comes with C-clips which almost disappear on a black belt. The C-clips are made of a super strong polymer material that doesn't scratch your chair and is easy on clothing.

I carry my 9c in a horsehide iwb made by white hat holsters and love the thing. I'm not going to say I forget it's there but I will tell you I don't notice it which is a very very good thing. You owe it to yourself to at least check them out.

I've been carrying in a PJ tuckable

in the past I've used a lot of crossbreeds. But once I tried out these super thin kydex iwb holsters, I don't think i'll go back. just way less bulk for a gun that's not very small.

I also have a stealthgear that was on sale for 35 shipped. if you don't have a light that's a solid holster as well. But again, not a hybrid. and I don't think it's tuckable.
