9c Sight Question

I know i've seen this somewhere before, but couldn't find the thread.

The sight dot on my M&P 9c's front sight has gone AWOL.
I know it has happened to some of you. Did you contact S&W? If so, what did they do?

Should I even bother, or just use nail polish?

This question comes up about once a week. The search function will show the simple answer which is to use Testor's model paint and apply with a toothpick.

I called S&W. In about three days a new sight appeared in the mail.
