So I was in a gunshop today and was told (we all know how that goes) that S&W will be coming out with 15rd 9mm full size M&P mags (we got that limit here in Colorado last July). Currently all new full size are coming with 10rd mags. Does anyone here know more about this? I realize I can call S&W on Monday, just curious, thanks.

I did not realize such a modified mag existed...but then again I live in a free state so it doesn't really matter to me...

I used to, hopefully will again, all mags possessed prior to 7/1/13 are grandfathered in so at least we didn't loose what we had.
Thanks for the info guys on the other mags. If the deal I'm working for a 9 Pro comes through at least I can get what I want for extra mags.

The OP was inquiring about 15 round magazines, not 17 round ones. I use factory magazines for all of my pistols. Especially with the magazines at a normal to low price, why would anyone get anything but factory magazines?

Right, as I posted initially only mags of 15 or less may be purchased after 7/01/13. The pistols I was looking at are new product that shipped with the 10rd mags. Curious that S&W chose not to go with 15. Oh well, thanks again for the info.

Maybe it was a "stop gap" measure until they could get the 15 rounders into production (or more correctly, get the parts from MecGar).
hi bkreutz. the mp9c comes with 12rd mags, standard. one seller confused colo with calif, and i got 10rd mags. extras were not that expensive (now have 6 total mags for the 9c). like the compact better for pulling from a drawer, or magnet under the table.
