I need to find some more .40 mags for my duty gun. As of now, I have eight, but they are split between my department issue gun and my personal M&P 40 full size. I would like to double or tripple that number.

Thanks for the heads up, but I am only interested in the 15 round mags as these are for L.E. use. The trouble is I can't find any in stock, even if I am willing to pay inflated prices.

Are those S&W mags or are they Promags mags? I knew that Quantico Tactical had allot of Promag mags for the M&P 9 but hadn't heard about them having factory S&W mags.

That picture in post #3 looks like it has a S&W stamp on the front at the bottom. Looks like factory mags to me.

Visiting my parents in WA and went to local ACE hardware, which is also LGS here. They did have 9mm ammo in stock, but to my surprise, they also had 6 each of S&W 17 rnd 9mm mags for $44.98. I have been looking for them, but only picked up one. I may buy a couple more while I'm here. Guess less pressure in small towns.

Which small town in WA? (my luck it will be on the other side of the state) I do remember when hardware stores sold ammo and guns but that was the early 60's.

The 600 mags from Quantico Tactical that went on sale last week were surplus factory mags. Looks like they didn't come with the factory plastic clamshell cases but were individually placed in ziploc bags but they are indeed factory and identical to the mags that came with my M&P fs.
