Just wondering about how much people pay for 9mm brass? I was scrounging around some websites the other day and the prices looked ridiculous to me. say for about 500-1000 pcs?
Thanks in advance

I've gotten all mine free at the local range. I simply ask the guys next to me if they're saving thier brass. 90% of people don't and will willingly give it to you if you offer to sweep it up for them.

If you can't scrounge it for free have a look here. I bought a whole lot of brass here when I was getting started.

The usual caveats when dealing online. Look at the "Straight Shooters & Deadbeats" thread. ;)

I see it quite a lot for around 2-2.5 cents each, if you can't pick enough off the ground. You have a pm inbound.

my goal of every range session is to come home with more then I brought.. I think I purchase about 3oo rounds of 9mm.. i now have over 500 casing sitting around waiting to be loaded.. be sure to do a through exception of the casing before working up a load

ladies and gentleman, im not looking for brass, (thanks for the kind offers anyway) i was wondering what a fair price is for it because the varied 7-10 cents i have been seeing seemed ridiculous to me, but by all means if it is burdening you to have it in your home ill gladly load them up and shoot them. :D

I bought 6000 pieces of once-fired 9mm brass off this forum a few months ago. The price was $120. shipped....you do the math.

Around here in my range, 9mm brass is a nuisance/litter! Goes to the scrap metal buckets..... 7-10 cents seems pretty high to me too.....

:) At one time a few months ago I had about 25000 9MM brass and couldn't sell them for $20 per thousand so I loaded them up with some 40 caliber brass I also couldn't sell and took them to the scrap yard. At the time they were paying a $1.90 per pound. I bought home a check for almost $400. I think I did good. Don
