Price For Range Brass

As others have suggested ....depending on how much you have you might just be better off taking to your local recycler.
I save my own brass plus whatever I pick up from my local range . I'll get 4 - 5 5 gallon pails a year . Last trip I got about $65.00 each . It pays for my range membership plus some extra ammo .

The economics of reloading still work, unless you're shooting 9mm Luger. If you're shooting 9mm you have to ask yourself if it's worth it.

That's a problem for the reloading industry. I don't have the exact numbers but my informal impression is 9mm is probably 80% of center-fire handgun sales.

I reload 9mm. It's not really a cartridge I shoot a lot of. I don't save much but I like to do it so that if we have another drought I can still be prepared. Now that I've started casting bullets for the first time in 40 years I'll have to run the numbers again.

I rarely shoot 9mm, but every time I go to our local range, there is a ton of spent brass on the ground. A good friend of mine from out of state shoots and reloads a ton of 9mm. He visits us every summer for a few weeks, and I always have a large box of it for him, and he's happy as a pig in poop to get it, lol ! His wife says that reloading it keeps him busy and out of her hair, lol !.
